SMA,
commenced operations in 1995 and currently operates in 40,000-sq.
ft. of manufacturing space centrally located in Southern California.
Our operations are engineered especially for the production
of precision sheet metal components for the next generation
airframe assembly and other high technology application where
the highest quality and precision are a must. We have painstakingly
committed ourselves on staying abreast of the ever changing
technologies related to the Aerospace industry by making extensive
investments in state if the art equipment such as CNC Water-Jet
cutting, CNC Punch Presses, Stretch Forming, 450 Ton Hydro-Press,
Powder coating and CAD engineering design. All this allows
us to offer our customers the latest and best solutions for
their current and future requirements.
Our rigorous
Quality Assurance systems have won the approvals of such demanding
customers as Boeing Military, Allied Signal Aerospace, Boeing
Helicopter and Boeing - Macon Facility as well as the recognition
of "Vendor of the Year" from the Boeing Company. SMA
has recognized that Quality is a commitment to be shared company
wide and have dedicated ourselves to improving performance
on all orders, even our most established work, makes it possible
to attract new opportunities and develop new customer relationships.
SMA is currently approved to
MIL-I-45208A and will be ISO 9002 compliant by the third quarter
of 1999. With team commitment, management involvement and
shop floor SPC result in end products that not only meet but
exceed customer requirements.
Quality
and On-time delivery work simultaneously so SMA
has utilized several management tools such as J.I.T. (Just
In Time) and MRO to maximize effective purchasing/planning
and eliminate costly delays due to late or non-delivery of
manufacturing related goods.
The management
philosophy of SMA is to be recognized
by our customers as the best supplier of sheet metal fabricated
components. Through total commitment, involvement and creativity,
SMA and our suppliers will work
as a team to effectively produce the best quality components,
at a competitive cost and with ON TIME delivery. The
team effort will focus on ways to continually improve performance,
